Each of the seven seas in Atlantis are ruled by a prince born of the sea. The sea then chooses a maiden to become his princes. She is beautiful, strong and worthy to rule along side him… Or so the legends say.
Neri is an orphan living in the poor fishing village of Sarochori in the Northern Atlantikos region. She was abandoned at the age of 3 and has spent the last 16 years learning how to take care of herself and survive.
Her only vice are the legends and stories she hears from the villagers. She had heard them all so many times they become part of her of who she is.
Little did she know that one of those legends were about to become her reality.
Neri accomplishes an incredible feat displaying both her courage and resourcefulness which reignites a long discarded tradition. This allows her, an orphan with no formal upbringing the chance to compete against highly trained noble Ladies in a set of Trials that leaves the last women standing as the rightful co-ruler of the region to reign alongside its Prince.
Neri will have to prove to herself and all those around her that she is worthy.
